The tools that they are using to achieve these objectives, will give government officials greater amounts of flexibility. The way that this is accomplished is through utilizing different elements in conjunction with one another to include: focusing on having a viable public transportation system, effective planning / development for future growth, creating settlement areas that will address the needs of businesses and effectively managing natural resources in the area. These different elements are important, because they are illustrating how there a numerous tools that are being utilized in addressing the current and future needs of the region. Weaknesses
The biggest weakness of the strategy is that there is focus on having the provincial government plan and implement the different aspects of the program. This is troubling, because this approach can lead to policies that are not taking into account the needs of businesses.
